INDIAN
Went ahead to join bits and pieces... I am not a good poet... so pls bear with me
I am an Indian.
My father was a son of the Revolution.
My mother was a colonial dame.
One of my ancestors pitched a insurgence.
Another stood his ground with Netaji Bose;
Another hungered with Gandhiji in a Satyagraha.
My forefathers were India in the making.
They spoke in her council halls!
They died on her battlefields.
They commanded her ships!
They cleared the forests.
Dawns reddened and paled.
Staunch hearts of mine beat fast
Keen eyes of mine forsaw her greater glory:
The sweep of her seas,
The plenty of her plains,
The man-hives in her billion-wired cities.
Every drop of blood in me holds a heritage of patriotism!
I am an Indian!
I am an Indian!
My father was an atom of dust,
My mother, a straw in the wind
To his Serene Majesty.
One of my ancestors died in the fields of tobacco;
Another was crippled for life by twenty blows of the knot;
Another was killed, defending his home during the massacre.
The history of my ancestors is a trail of blood
To the palace-gate of the Great Queen.
But, then the dream came---
The dream of India.
In the light of Gandhiji's struggle,
The atom of dust became a man
And the straw in the wind became a woman
For the first time.
See, said my father, pointing to the flag that fluttered near,
"That flag of with orange, white and green is yours;
It is the emblem of the promised land.
It means, my son, the hope of humanity.
Live for it---die for it!"
Under the open sky of my new country,
I swore to do so,
And every drop of blood in me
Will keep that vow.
I am proud of my future.
I am an Indian.

Infy = Walmart?
A disruptive innovation is a new product or service or a new business model that doesn't attack the core market by bringing a better product to established users in direct competition with the leaders in an industry, but rather it comes into the low end of the market, either through a business model that can compete at much lower costs, can compete profitably at lower costs, or brings to the market a product or service that is so much more convenient and simple to use and affordable that a whole new population of people who previously couldn't afford or didn't have the skill to own and use a product can now own one.

Days in the land of Uncle Sam
Right now, as I write this while in the Show-Me State (Missouri), I complete my 5 months of stay in the Land of Uncle Sam.
Experiences....plenty !
Remembered family: Everyday !
23rd Bday celebrated in St Louis, MO.
Journeys:
1. April: Chicago
2. May: NY
3. June: Indianapolis [F1]
Mishaps: Plenty :P
[Missed connecting flight at Atlanta]
Landed here on the 24th March and that weekend we had a Holi party here.
Holi was a nice one....with a lot of zeal amongst Infoscions at Southmoor Apartments in South County in Saint Louis.
Indians met: Plenty .....proud to say that !
Goras/Goris met: Plenty....again proud to say that :P
Party: Less than that in India. Company sucks big time. Moreover, south county MO has very less to offer.
Learnings: Lotssa them
Career: Stagnant...no significant progress.
Rest of updates : Laterzzzzz
Software and the Underworld
Literature:
Working on something which I have very abstractly titled as "Software and the underworld"
Revolves around a mysterious firm which is India's most leading software services and products provider. However, there are reservations in certain sects of population about its actual business.
Well outlined, still working on details of the script.
Will update later.

I want my Sleepzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz................!
Well, today it is a mixed day in the midwestern region of St Louis
Rainy in the morning and then suddenly sunny and humid in the afternoon. Kind of making me feel sick. I dont know why and what. ... weekend rest didn't happen.
Was messing around on orkut a bit...updating profile and stuff.
Also exploring some features they have. Also, explored some features of Google.com
Thomas Friedman and so have other speakers at TiECon 2005 have their speech posted here:
Oh man, it's a Monday and I am already longing for the Friday again.
Gotta get back to work.
Laterz...
