Bank of America is getting obscenely non-chalant. They've kept their customer call center only up to 11pm these days - that too just 5 days - so it ain't even 24 by 5 - it is 16 by 5.
Earlier, I could call them 24 by 7 and then 24 by 5 and now just 16 by 5.
This service level is mostly unacceptable.
There is no way to get to them - I tried finding an email on their webpage and it was so difficult to traverse the website that it was almost impossible to find - hence, I had to rely on Google for the same.
I suspect where BoFA stands in the ACSI ratings. Definitely, not in the top league - for sure.
A bank which is trying to compete with Citibank - if they keep on providing this level of service - I think customers may migrate. It seems that they are heavily inclined towards cost-cutting. I have nothing against them undertaking cost-cutting - but at the expense of a customer? As soon as my tax money comes back, I am paying back their cards and getting rid of the accounts !
